The word curation is most commonly used in reference to organizing a museum’s collection or an art exhibition. However, with the rapidly growing amount open educational resources (OER) available on the Internet, the art and science of curation is becoming vital to the field.
While OER have made learning available to a larger section of the population, we have to take into account accessibility to technology and Internet and be mindful of differences in cultures and languages to make way for a more inclusive and equitable OER.
